Six selected playwrights will receive dramaturgical from F-Bomb Theatre support to write a short scene for the stage. The pieces will then be produced for a scratch night showcase of emerging writers at Assembly Roxy in Edinburgh on March 8.

Female-identifying emerging playwrights living in Scotland. We know emerging is a pretty broad term, so for this project we specify that you haven’t had a full-length stage play produced. This is to help ensure the participants get the most out of the project.

Apply by 10am 27 January:
- Your writing CV;
- A 10-page sample of your scriptwriting;
- A 200-or-less-words pitch of a short theatrical piece, involving no more than three characters, linked to this year’s IWD theme: Embrace Equity.
