What is FemiFringe?
There are 3000+ shows in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, but no way to find those led by women and people of marginalised genders in the website or print programme. Enter: the FemiFringe Guide!
Since 2022, F-Bomb Theatre has collated these shows into a FREE print and digital resource. Last year alone we distributed 3000 around Edinburgh.
And it’s completely free for artists to register and take part in this community.
What you get…
Your show, listed in the FREE FemiFringe Guide - stand out among 3000+ EdFringe shows and reach audiences interested in work led by gender-marginalised artists
An invitation to our always sold-out FemiFringe launch party
Connection with a community that aims to be a safe and supportive space for artists of all gender expressions and intersectional experiences
Being part of the “main culprit” infesting Fringe with woke trigger warnings (thanks for the shout-out, Scottish Express)
Register for the FemiFringe Guide

F-Bomb Theatre is unable to screen artists registered to FemiFringe and cannot be held responsible content of the shows in the guide. By registering, you understand that you are part of a project which celebrates gender-marginalised artists - including cisgendered women, trans women and trans men, non-binary, gender-nonconforming and intersex people. We reserve the right to not include any show/artist which we find to be targeting or discriminating against marginalised groups.
2024 FemiFringe Guide: The Official Guide to Shows Led by Women and People of Marginalised Genders at Edinburgh Fringe
The FemiFringe Guide started three years ago with a humble hashtag and a digital booklet aimed at celebrating and spotlighting shows led by women and people of marginalised genders. Last year, we made the leap to print - and in 2024 we have 300 shows and an 3000 copies of our free A4 magazine!
FemiFringe is a celebration of artists who have overcome barriers in this tough, underfunded industry - and on top of that, come together to form an inclusive, supportive and FUN community. This guide could not exist without you! So go forth, support your fellow FemiFringers, make new friends in the industry and have a safe, healthy, transformative Fringe.
